Cancellation Policy

Guidelines for Participation in All POLARIS Online Courses (Details in the General Terms and Conditions) 1. Access & Technical Requirements a) Participation takes place online via the platform provided by the course provider (e.g., Zoom or a learning platform). b) Participants are responsible for having a stable internet connection as well as a functioning camera and microphone. c) Access to course materials is provided exclusively through channels authorized by the provider. Course materials may not be shared with third parties under any circumstances. 2. Registration & Course Fees a) Registration is binding and must be submitted in writing via email or online. b) Course fees must be paid before the course begins. c) In case of late payment, access to the course may be temporarily suspended. 3. Attendance & Punctuality a) Participants commit to attending the course regularly and punctually. b) If a participant is unable to attend, the provider must be informed in advance. c) Missed lessons cannot be made up or refunded. 4. Respect & Learning Environment a) Respectful interaction is essential for a pleasant learning atmosphere. b) Discriminatory, offensive, or disruptive behavior will result in exclusion from the course. c) Active participation and constructive feedback are expressly encouraged. 5. Data Protection & Recordings a) Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and Swiss data protection law. b) Recording of sessions is only permitted with the explicit consent of the provider. c) All course materials are protected by copyright and may not be shared or published. 6. Withdrawal & Course Cancellation a) Withdrawal is possible up to 14 days before the course begins; after that, the provider’s General Terms and Conditions apply. Courses that have already started cannot be refunded, even partially. b) If a course is cancelled by the provider, a replacement date will be offered or the course fee will be refunded proportionally. c) In cases of force majeure (e.g., technical issues, illness, pandemics), sessions may be rescheduled. 7. Jurisdiction a) Swiss law applies to all legal relationships. b) The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the course provider.
